Unblocking Boreholes

Topline Borehole & Irrigation has an extensive range of tooling, machinery & equipment used to open & unblock blocked boreholes. A majority of the borehole contractors will advise you to drill a new borehole if your borehole is blocked or collapsed. Topline Borehole & Irrigation will unblock & get the borehole operational. We do not simply give up and go for the easiest option. Over the years we have recovered many boreholes that were written off by other contractors.

Re-Casing

After a borehole is drilled, it is lined with a special steel permeable liner called Casing. This stabilises the borehole and prevents the potential collapse of its walls, whilst at the same time, allowing water to enter into the borehole via water penetration slits. The free space between the outside of the liner and the bore itself is then backfilled with various gravels and clays to act as the first stage filter to the borehole. After 15 to 20 years this casing corrodes because it is constantly in wet moist conditions, this causes the borehole to collapse. In order to renew the life of the borehole we Clean & Re-Case the borehole. This will basically make the borehole as good as new with a lifespan of another 15 to 20 years.
